Paul McCartney & Wings‘ iconic album, Band On The Run, will be re-released for its 50th anniversary. It contains alternate mixes of the songs.
McCartney says, “This is Band on the Run in a way you’ve never heard before. When you are making a song and putting on additional parts, like an extra guitar, that’s an overdub. Well, this version of the album is the opposite… it’s Underdubbed.”
The multi-Grammy-winning album was originally released in December 1973. And features songs like “Jet,” “Bluebird,” and “Let Me Roll It.”
The 50th anniversary edition of Band on the Run will be available in a variety of formats beginning February 2.
