  • Red Hot Chili Peppers have dropped “Tippa My Tongue” — the first track from their upcoming album from Return Of The Dream Canteen, set for release on October 14th. It's also been announced the band will be saluted at MTV's 2022 VMA's as its “2022 Global Icon.” The event airs live on MTV on August 28th at 8 pm.
  • Sammy Hagar & The Circle have posted the video for their second tune from their upcoming Crazy Times collection coming on September 30th. The track is a hard-driving take on Elvis Costello & The Attractions' 1978 classic, “Pump It Up.”
  • Last week, Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson, the Gibson Guitars team, and representatives from Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital donated funds and instruments directly to two local organizations that offer vital resources to the people of Nashville: Monroe Carell and Room In The Inn. In addition, Gibson has donated guitars and gear for music therapy programs at the hospital and Room In The Inn.
  • Lifeson is donating both current and ongoing music royalties from the sales of his recent signature Epiphone Les Paul Axcess guitar, and Gibson Gives is donating funds directly to each charity. (Press release)
