Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band have added an 18-show fall leg to their upcoming tour. The new dates kick off on September 23rd at Bridgeport, Connecticut's Hartford Healthcare Amphitheatre, and wind down south of the border with a pair of gigs on October 19th and 20th at Mexico City's Auditorio Nacional.

The 2022 All Starr Band features an all-veteran lineup with Edgar Winter, Toto's Steve Lukather, Men At Work's Colin Hay, along with percussionist Warren Ham, drummer Gregg Bissonette, and Hamish Stuart from the Average White Band — and a longtime Paul McCartney sideman.

Ringo said in a statement, “It is so great to finally announce all these shows we had planned for 2020, and I am really looking forward to playing them! How great to start at Casino Rama, where we’ve begun 5 All Starr tours, and then to go back to the Beacon, and to the Greek, which was the last show we played in 2019 on our 30th Anniversary tour. I can’t wait to see all our fans and until then I’m sending everyone peace and love and see you soon!”

We caught up with Ringo prior to launching the last string of All Starr summer shows and asked him if he's getting excited to spend another season on the road: “Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. It's exciting. Every time I put the All Starr's together, we end up in a room in some country — we like to call it 'rehearsals' and, we all know what we're supposed to do, we get on with it, and we have a lot of fun. That's the only rule I have; do you wanna have fun in the summer? Then let's go. I'm not here to be tortured.”
