Sammy Hagar surprised an audience in Scottsdale, Arizona when he stepped on stage with G3's super musicians Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, and Steve Vai to perform a heavy cover of the Jimi Hendrix classic “Foxy Lady.”
Hagar, who just happened to be in the neighborhood that night, shared the video on YouTube, and wrote: “I've never felt more power on stage.”
For the sake of history… Hagar played with G3’s Kenny Aronoff and Satriani in the group Chickenfoot, which also featured former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony.
