Sting has once again pushed his upcoming spring Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace due to the ongoing pandemic.

A message posted on Sting.com stated: “After careful consideration, Sting’s May 7th to May 22, 2021 Las Vegas residency performances at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace have been rescheduled to June 3rd to June 18th, 2022. We’re looking forward to Sting taking the stage in October for this highly anticipated opening and hope to see you there!”

Sting will play a string of Philadelphia dates hitting The Met Philadelphia on September 7th and 8th, 2021. Sting's son, Joe Sumner will serve as the opener.

The upcoming Vegas production, titled My Songs, “will present a compendium of Sting’s songs with dynamic, visual references to some of his most iconic videos and inspirations.”

Sting told us he aims to excite only himself with his music he makes: “I've always managed to do exactly what I want, and largely it's coincided with popular tastes, which I like — rather than, say, 'OK, what's the formula here? So I just really make the record for myself and my friends and musicians. If it flies up the flagpole, great. If it doesn't, we'll have another go a couple of years later.”
