Foo Fighters guitarist Pat Smear revealed that he, Dave Grohl, and Krist Novoselic still jam frequently as Nirvana. During the Foos' appearance on Howard Stern's Sirius XM show, Smear, who was Nirvana's touring guitarist beginning in 1993, explained, "Every once in a while, me and Krist and Dave get together and we do play as if we’re Nirvana. I don’t have to miss it — we do it. If we’re in the same town together or whatever, we’ll get together and jam."

Dave Grohl spoke about hearing his daughter sing "Come As You Are" when it came on the car radio: "I never played that record. We don’t talk about Nirvana and stuff, and she was singing every word of the song. That, to me — that feels good."

Krist Novoselic recalled Nirvana's 1991 breakthrough set, Nevermind, which revolutionized rock for a new generation: ["Well, it was a phenomenon. I think a lot of it was timing as what was going on in the music business. And a lot of the Sunset Strip hair bands were past their prime and people were ready for something new. And I think Nirvana always tried to be sincere."] SOUNDCUE (:21 OC: . . . to be sincere)
