The Doors’ ‘Golden Album’ Has Been Reissued

The DoorsGolden Album, has been reissued. The original version from 1968 was released exclusively in Japan and for years, was difficult to obtain.

It’s a compilation of 12 songs from their first three studio albums: The Doors, Strange Days, and Waiting for the Sun. Many of the Rock Hall of Famers hits are included, such as “Light My Fire” and “Hello, I Love You.”

Five songs from the compilation appear on the bonus 7inch, including the Top 40 hits “People Are Strange” and “Unknown Soldier.”

The Doors’ Golden Album comes in a deluxe gatefold jacket with an insert including lyrics. Only 5,000 copies will be sold and it’s only available online.
