Watch Foo Fighters’ live performance video for “Making a Fire”

Foo Fighters have premiered a live performance video for “Making a Fire,” the opening track off the band’s new album, Medicine at Midnight.

The clip, which was filmed at Dave Grohl‘s Studio 606 recording studio, captures the funk influences of the track with a trio of back-up singers and Taylor Hawkins‘ grooving drum beat. You can watch it now streaming on YouTube.

Medicine at Midnight, the 10th Foo Fighters album, was released last Friday. It includes the singles “Shame Shame” and “Waiting on a War.”

In related news, Grohl has joined the Advisory Board for the National Independent Venue Association, which has been supporting independent performance venues amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Other members of the board include Fitz and the TantrumsNoelle Scaggs, Killer Mike of Run the Jewels and producing legend Quincy Jones.
