Toby Keith celebrated with the Oklahoma University softball team who won their third straight National Championship win against Florida State on Friday (June 9th). The ladies joined Toby on stage to sing his hit song "How Do You Like Me Now?!"
ESPN broadcaster Holly Rowe shared a video of the special celebration on Twitter and wrote, "Sooner celebration. Unapologetic and @tobykeith remains one of the best humans ever."
Toby responded by writing, "Three in a row for Natty Patty. How do you like Sooner Nation now? Congratulations to Natty Patty and the @OU_softball team. 7 time champs. Boomer Sooner."
"Natty Patty" is Patty Gasso, the OU softball team's coach.
This was one of Toby's rare appearances over the last year as he continues to battle stomach cancer. The Spun reports that he "is now on track for a full recovery."
That night, Toby told attendees that he recently bought a race horse named "7-Natty Patty" in honor of Patty Gasso’s seventh National Championship.
