Aaron Carter’s autopsy is complete.
According to the Los Angeles Medical-Examiner Coroner’s office, the cause of death has been deferred pending further examination.
Deadline reports the medical examiner is requesting additional information to determine the cause and manner of death.
TMZ writes that Carter was struggling with an addiction to huffing compressed air and that investigators found evidence of that at the site of his death. Law enforcement officers told the outlet that multiple cans of compressed air and prescription pills were found in the singer’s bathroom and bedroom.
