Ariana Grande's new album, Eternal Sunshine, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, marking her sixth album to achieve this feat. The record earned 227,000 equivalent album units in its opening week, making it the biggest week for any album in 2024 so far.
Eternal Sunshine was boosted by its availability in various physical configurations, digital downloads, and vinyl sales, with Grande's vinyl editions surpassing her previous record. The album was released on March 8th and features the Billboard Hot 100 number one hit, "Yes, And?" In the new chart, Morgan Wallen's One Thing At A Time slipped to the second spot, followed by Noah Kahan's Stick Season and Ye and Ty Dolla $ign's Vultures 1.
