Britney Spears has finally weighed in on the public debate about her conservatorship.

While the embattled singer has not commented directly on the documentary Framing Britney Spears, she did share some thoughts on social media Tuesday (February 9thh) alongside a video of herself performing in Las Vegas.

Britney wrote, “I’ll always love being on stage …. but I am taking the time to learn and be a normal person ….. I love simply enjoying the basics of every day life!!!! Each person has their story and their take on other people’s stories!!!! We all have so many different bright beautiful lives!!! Remember, no matter what we think we know about a person's life it is nothing compared to the actual person living behind the lens!!!!”

Sam Ashgarhi is also weighing in with some harsh words for Britney’s father, Jamie Spears. Her 27-year-old boyfriend wrote on Instagram Tuesday (February 9th), “Now it’s important for people to understand that I have zero respect for someone trying to control our relationship and constantly throwing obstacles in our way. In my opinion Jamie is a total dick. I won’t be going into details because I’ve always respected our privacy but at the same time, I didn’t come to this country not to be able to express my opinion and freedom."

The statement comes one day after he offered supportive words for his partner to People, saying that he has “always wanted nothing but the best for my better half.”
