Bruno Mars was forced to cancel his second of two concerts in Tel Aviv, Israel over the weekend after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Saturday that the country was “at war” following a surprise attack by Hamas militants that killed hundreds of Israelis. “Bruno Mars concert scheduled to take place tonight is canceled,” a note from Live Nation read. “All ticket purchases to the show will receive an automatic refund to the credit card through which the purchase was made. We stand with the residents of Israel, IDF fighters, and the security forces in these difficult moments.” The safety of music fans around Israel was a real concern. At least 250 bodies were recovered at the site of the Nova trance musical festival near the Gaza Strip, after Hamas militants paraglided into the crowd.
