Charlie Puth says that Greyson Chance wasn’t the only artist to be abandoned by Ellen DeGeneres’ eleveneleven record label.
The singer told Rolling Stone Music Now, “We both have different experiences, me versus Greyson. But I do agree with him that no one was present, certainly, after the creation of my first demo EP. Not putting any blame on one person, but from a collective … all the people that were in that room, they just disappeared. I didn’t hear from anybody.”
Chance recently told Rolling Stone that DeGeneres was “manipulative” and “blatantly opportunistic” to work with and claimed that she was incredibly controlling until his music underperformed. After that, the 25-year-old singer says she became incredibly distant.
