Hayley Williams has revealed that she is ready to start working on a new Paramore album. The band hasn't released a new album since 2017's After Laughter. According to Loudwire, when asked about working on a follow up to her Petals for Armor debut, Williams tweeted said that although she has more songs already written during the last record's session, she will not be releasing another solo record in the immediate future.
She explained, “There are more songs, yeah. But I'm not planning on another solo album. And I'm not sure if they'd be great for Paramore.” She added, “I'm ready for the next Paramore album. Let's go.”
When asked if she would be more involved in the instrumental part of the writing process for the upcoming Paramore album, she said, “I wouldn't say I've been un-involved up till now, but the thing is we grew up playing together and learning (and the re-learning) how to write together. They are my favorite musicians in the world. I'm excited to see how our writing together grows for this next project.”
