Lizzo has hired celebrity attorney Marty Singer to defend her against the sexual harassment lawsuit filed by 3 of her former dancers. Singer has a decent track record in Hollywood, but his previous clients feature some controversial names including Bill Cosby, Johnny Depp, Danny Masterson, Charlie Sheen and Chris Brown.
The attorney is already defending Lizzo publicly, by sharing an audition video of one of the plaintiffs, Arianna Davis, on Thursday. In it, she praises her ex-employer, “It’s been so amazing and such a beautiful journey. I look up to her so much. I just want to follow in her footsteps, and I just want to share that with the Queen Lizzo herself.” Singer added in a statement to TMZ: “These do not sound like the words of someone who was harassed or discriminated against by someone they described as ‘THE QUEEN."”
