Madonna has responded to the class-action lawsuit filed against her over delayed concert start times. The pop star’s lawyers have filed a motion to dismiss the case, arguing that inconveniences like having trouble finding a ride home or needing to wake up early for work are not valid injuries. The lawsuit stems from three concerts in New York where Madonna started her performances more than two hours later than scheduled. Plaintiffs claim breach of contract, violation of state laws, and false advertising. However, Madonna’s lawyers countered that the plaintiffs left the concerts satisfied and did not suffer any real injury. They also highlighted that attendees usually understand that headliners perform later than the printed time on the ticket.
