It wasn’t long ago that Olivia Rodrigo earned her driver’s license, and on Sunday, she marked the inevitable next milestone in her driving journey: her first parking ticket.

The 18-year-old “Drivers License” singer took to her Instagram stories on Sunday to tell fans about her recent bad luck.

As it turns out, Los Angeles doesn’t mess around with parking scofflaws, no matter how famous they are.  The singer snapped a photo of her unmistakable red and white “parking violation” envelope and ticket to prove she ran afoul of the parking authorities.

Olivia joked in the caption, “Damn this driving s*** isn’t all fun and games.”

The High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star did not explain what she did to deserve the ticket nor explain how much she owes the city.

Despite the parking violation, Olivia is still cruising along in her best year yet, with her freshman single racking up eight weeks at number one, plus one billion global streams. Meanwhile, her new song “Deja Vu” is climbing the chart and her debut album comes out next month.
