DRAKE DENIES CLAIMS THAT HE IS PURSUING KIM KARDASHIAN: Drake has denied rumors that he is looking to pursue Kim Kardashian now that she is divorcing Kanye West. Gossip of The City reached out to Drake about the rumor via direct message on Instagram, asking, “Fake news ? He responded, “Obviously [crying laughing emoji].”
NICKI MINAJ'S MOM FILES $150 MILLION LAWSUIT AGAISNT DRIVER IN FATHER'S HIT AND RUN DEATH: Nicki Minaj's mom Carol Maraj has filed a $150 million lawsuit in the death of her husband, Robert Maraj. The 64-year-old was killed after being struck by a 1992 white station wagon that was allegedly driven by Charles Polevich in Mineola, New York. He was taken to the hospital, where he died the next day. According to Billboard, Maraj's attorney Benjamin Crump filed the suit in the Supreme Court of the State of New York. Crump said in a statement, “He was fatally injured in a hit-and-run accident on February 12, 2021, when he was struck by a car being driven by Charles Polevich as Mr. Maraj walked along a Long Island road. After striking Maraj, Polevich left the accident scene and did not call for emergency services or render aid to Maraj.” The statement continued, “He was not only irresponsible and negligent, but more concerned about running away and hiding than seeking help. Polevich’s behavior was criminal, cowardly, and immoral. We will hold him responsible for his reckless actions that led to Robert Maraj’s death!” Polevich turned himself in to law enforcement on Feb. 17th and was charged with two felonies, leaving the scene of an accident that led to death and tampering with or suppressing physical evidence.
LIZZO TO LAUNCH TV SERIES HUNTING FOR 'FULL-FIGURED' MODELS AND DANCERS: According to NME, Lizzo is launching an as yet untitled TV competition series for Amazon where she is on the search for a full figured dancer or model to share the stage with her. Lizzo wrote via IG, “Where are all the big girls? That’s what I wanna know. So me and Amazon are gonna find out.” In the caption, she added, “I BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE! Are you a full figured dancer or model? Have you felt underrepresented and under appreciated? THEN I’M LOOKIN FOR YOU! It’s time to find my dream team of beautifully talented big grrrls and @amazonstudios is helping ya grrrl on this journey!”
BRITNEY SPEARS' MOM WANTS HER TO SING MORE: Britney Spears’ mom wants her to sing more. The singer posted a clip of herself to Instagram Friday (March 19th) that showed a performance in Singapore in 1998. Spears wrote, “My mom sent this to me and reminded me I can sing!!!! She said, ‘You never sing anymore…you need to again!!!”
