Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department has (again) made history on Spotify, this time becoming the first album to exceed one billion streams in a single week. The 31-track project including lead single “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone, achieved the impressive feat in just five days. It also holds the record for most streams in a single day on Spotify with over 300 million listens within its first 24 hours.

Tortured Poets further broke Swift’s own record for the largest vinyl sales week for an album in the modern era, selling 800,000 copies in just four days. Overall, it has sold over 1.8 million total units this week, which is already the fourth-largest sales week in the modern era — with two days left in the track period. (The top three are Adele’s 25 (3.378 million in 2015), *NSYNC’s No Strings Attached (2.416 million, in 2000), *NSYNC’s Celebrity (1.878 million, 2001).
