The most talked-about Saturday Night Live sketch of the weekend featured host Timothee Chalamet playing castmember Sarah Sherman's sleep paralysis demon — Australian pop star Troye Sivan. “It’s just a guy, but like a gay guy,” Sherman describes to her doctor (played by Bowen Yang) to which Chalamet’s Sivan replies, “No, not just any gay guy, homie. It’s me, Troye Sivan. Let’s go!” During the course of the sketch, Chalamet also dances and flashes his red briefs from behind, in a nod to Sivan's famously homoerotic music videos. The SNL segment got rave reviews on social media, including from Sivan himself. “WHY IS LIFE SO WEIRDDDDD RN LMAO IM DEAD,” he captioned a snippet on Instagram. The singer liked it so much, he even changed his profile picture to an image of Chalamet portraying him.
