(Enid, OK) The Enid Police Department arrested a 49-year-old Enid man on a count of lewd molestation on Sunday afternoon.
49-year-old Paul Mitchell was arrested after a 13-year-old girl asked a woman she did not know for help, according to the police.
The woman took her to the police department at 1:15 p.m. Sunday afternoon, and the teen told an officer that Mitchell had been touching her inappropriately and “touched her badly,” according to the EPD report. The teen also said she was scared. The girl also had a recording of Mitchell saying he was in love with her along with other “alarming comments”, according to the EPD.
The investigation is ongoing.
