Blackwell Resident Killed in Accident Sunday

(Enid, OK) A Blackwell resident was killed in an accident Sunday afternoon after slipping on a cattle guard while opening a gate to a property in Noble County and was run over by a stock trailer, according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

52-year-old Patricia Rascon fell between a 2019 Ford F350 and a 16-foot stock trailer as the vehicle was driving through the gate at about 1:40 p.m. Sunday, the OHP reports.

Rascon was transported to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center by Perry EMS, where she was pronounced dead due to internal and external chest, arm and leg injuries, according to the OHP.

The driver of the vehicle was 65-year-old Alvaro Rason Bojorquez, also a Blackwell resident. He was not injured in the accident.
