The Circle of Care Inc. is having its first-ever fundraiser event in Enid at the Enid Symphony Hall on September 9th from 4 pm to 6 pm. The CEO of Circle Of Care, Keith Howard, recently had an interview about the event with EnidLIVE!. He talked about the event overall and focused on some parts of it.

As quoted by Howard, “We’re excited to have our first-ever event in Enid, and at this event, we’re gonna be telling stories of Circle of Care and the impact we make across Oklahoma for children and families. Specifically in the Enid area, we serve foster families and children in foster care. At this event we’ll have live music, we’ll give out a few awards to some of our supporters and foster family of the year from the area, have some desserts, and just really a time to share the mission and vision of Circle of Care and we’re really excited to be in Enid this Saturday.”

Howard talked more about the organization and what they do for people. As stated by him, “We’ve been around since 1917, so 106 years of serving children across the state. We are the largest private provider of foster care in Oklahoma, so in Enid, we serve foster families. We have two large homes that are sibling homes. That way we can keep siblings together and what we do is wrap support around these foster parents and the kids in their homes to really make it the most safe, helpful, loving environment that we can.”

He mentioned where the money from this event will go after Saturday. He says, “The money raised at this event will go directly back into the foster families we’re serving. So that they will provide clothing for kids in foster care, it will provide community activity funds. So if a kid wants to play baseball or want to be in ballet, we will reimburse the foster parents for those things.”
