The Enid Library will be celebrating the 100th year of the Enid Writers Club with a plaque ceremony. The ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 15th at noon at the Enid Library prior to Author Fest in the Marquis Room.
A Plaque will commemorate the Enid Writers Club which was formed in 1923 by Professor Roy J. Wolfinger of Phillips University. Oklahoma Artist Nancy Russell’s hand-sculpted ceramic plaque will be presented in honor of the century-old club.
