(Enid, OK) The Enid Police Department are investigating the death of a woman, whose body was found lying in the north alleyway of the 700 block of West Nagel Avenue on Sunday afternoon.
Police found the body of Martika Ferguson, a 27-year-old Black woman who had been shot. The incident was reported by neighborhood residents, who saw Ferguson lying in the alley before calling police.
The body was transported to Oklahoma City to the state Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
According to Enid police, no further information is being released at this time.
The investigation is still ongoing.
