Enid Reports 9 Active Case of COVID As State Stays in New Normal Zone

(Enid, OK) The Oklahoma State Department of Health reported on Wednesday that there have been 40 COVID-19-related deaths in the past week, including an Enid resident, while Garfield County reported four new COVID-19 cases.

According to Oklahoma State Department of Health’s COVID-19 Risk Level System, 40 Oklahoma counties are in the low or “yellow” risk level and 37, including a majority of Northwest Oklahoma counties, are in the new normal or “green” risk level.

The OSDH reported one Enid resident and one Watonga resident were among 40 COVID-19-related deaths reported in the past week.

Cases in Garfield County increased by four in the last 7 days for an overall total of 7,806, with nine active cases.

Other Northwest Oklahoma counties weekly increases included two in Woodward, one in Kingfisher and one in Major County.
