The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center has geared up a fun day to celebrate agricultural heritage in the Cherokee Strip. Family Farm Day gives families the opportunity to participate in hands-on farm activities such as grinding corn, churning butter, decorating pumpkins, and much more. This event celebrates the farming heritage that built Northwest Oklahoma.
And one extra thing. If you show up to the village dressed in your most farm-tastic attire, you will have a chance to be crowned Farm King or Queen.
The event will be on October 7th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, and take place at the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center.
