North Garland Church of Christ is set to hold a garage sale this weekend to raise funds for its upcoming mission trip.
The garage sale will be happening at 703 North Garland Rd. from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. on both Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27. The sale will feature a variety of items such as clothes, decorations, kitchen appliances and even lightly used toys and games for the kids.
The mission trip being funded will involve establishing a new church in the city of Calapan on the island of Mindoro in the Philippines. This trip will continue an ongoing effort to establish churches in all the capital cities in the Philippines; an effort North Garland Church of Christ has been involved with for nearly 25 years.
The church is currently just short of it’s $21,800 goal, so sales from this garage sale may be the last contribution they need to fund the June 2025 trip.
