The Enid Fire Department is starting a hiring process in February 2024.
Starting in February, the EFD will be accepting employment applications. Candidates must be 18 years old at the time of application and not older than 45 years old by employment date.
Applicants must meet the physical, medical, and educational criteria established by the OK Firefighters Pension and Retirement Board.
Employees of the class will be preventing fires, extinguishing fires, responding to medical and hazardous material incidents, and working 24-hour shifts.
Benefits include paid vacation, sick leave, merit pay, incentive pay, and medical & dental insurance.
The starting base salary is $40,097.
