The Enid Girl Scouts are having a pet adoption event on Saturday, August 26th, at 305 East Oxford. The Girl Scout Troop 726 will be holding this event, and it will last from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Pet fosters and other animal caretakers will be bringing their animals as well. There will be door prizes such as dog toys, dog bins, crates, and more pet-related prizes at the event. Dogs will not be the only animal at the event, several fosters will be bringing kittens and cats as well.

Girl Scout Lainey and her Troop leader Dawn Devlin recently had an interview with EnidLive. Lainey spoke about the adoption event saying, “Since there are so many animals living on the streets, getting a lot of pets adopted that way they have someone to take care of them.”
