The City of Enid Mayor and Board of Commissioners of the City of Enid will be having a regular meeting on Tuesday, November 7, right after the Study Session. The Session will begin at 6:30 pm in the City Administration building in the Council Chambers at 401 West Owen K. Garriott Road.

Here are some items of note that will occur during the meeting.

5.1 “Approve Change Order No. 1 with Southwest Water Works, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, for Project No. W-2123C – Randolph Avenue, Van Buren Street to Washington Street Waterline Relocation, in the amount of $63,768.40, accept this project as fully completed by the contractor, and authorize the Mayor to execute necessary documents.”

5.4 “Accept the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ) Permit WL000024230394, which proposes the construction of a waterline to replace the Ames Raw Water Transmission Main along Turkey Creek Crossing, Project No. W-2114C.”

5.6 “Approve a one-year renewal of the Administrative Services Agreement between the City of Enid and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Oklahoma for third-party administration of the City of Enid’s Self-Funded Employee Health Insurance Plan, Dental Insurance Plan, COBRA Administration, and Stop-Less Coverage.”

5.7 The Approval of claims of $8,095,122.46

Some other items on the docket of the Regular Meeting include: considering the cancellation of the purchase of a 2024 Heil Frontload trask truck from United Engines for $345,000.00; a recap on special events and the Haunted Gym; The recognition of the ribbon cutting for Elm Street completion, and multiple approval of claims, totaling over $465,000.
