The City of Enid Mayor and Board Commissioners are having a Regular Study Session on Tuesday, November 7 at the City Administration Building on 401 West Owen K. Garriott Road in the Council Chambers. The meeting will begin at 5:00 pm, and consists of the following items on the docket:

An Update from Main Street Enid on Enid Lights Up the Plains, the downtown lights, and the ice-skating rink.

Update from the Community Development on the corridor beautification project.

Update from Scissortail Renewables on the landfill methane processing plant.

And a discussion over possible changes to park hours.

The following is the Ordinance to prohibit the use of the parks before sunset and after sunrise

” It shall be unlawful for any person, other than city personnel conducting city business therein, to occupy or be present in city parks during the hours the parks are not open to the public.”

“Baseball fields, softball fields, football fields, and soccer fields within the city parks, including the spectator and parking areas of said fields, are excluded from the above closing hours while said fields are being used for team playing of baseball, softball, football or soccer. This exception is extended only to teams organized by sports organizations that have filed with the city an approved schedule of proposed use of the fields.”
