Enid 1st Responders Commemorate 9/11 Victims By Walking 9.11 Km

Enid 1st responders commemorated those who lost their lives in the tragic 9/11 incident by walking 9.11 km. The 1st first responders wanted to honor those who fell today 22 years ago.

9/11 was a terrorist attack by the terrorist extremist group Al-Qaeda. The group hijacked multiple planes and flew them into the World Trade Center twin towers, the Pentagon, and one presumably into the White House which was diverted away with the help of the passengers.

The total amount of people who lost their lives on that day included: 343 firefighters, 60 police officers, 8 paramedics, 246 passengers, and 2,606 employees.
