1954 - 2024
Celebration of Life Service for John Pearson, 69 of Enid, will be Friday, February 9, 2024 at 11:00 am in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Brian Meyer officiating. Private family burial will precede the service.
John was born on December 14, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri to Dean and Joyce (Zimmerling) Pearson and passed away on February 4, 2024 at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa, with his son by his side.
John grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School in 1973. He worked at his father's car dealership, Dean Pearson Dodge. John later worked at Janzen GMC as service manager. On June 22, 1991, he married Carolyn Vogt. They owned and operated Cee and Jay Vending for several years. After his retirement, he enjoyed spending time on the farm driving his tractors and tinkering. John was a member of the Moose Lodge.
John was preceded in death by his parents, and sister-in-law, Joy Vogt.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; children and their spouses, Matt and Krista Pearson and Tiffany and Phil Hemert; four grandchildren, Peyton, Quinn, Ryann, Harper; brother, Chuck Pearson; sister, Beverly Lagrange; two brothers-in-law, AJ and James Vogt; other relatives and friends.
