Naomi Doreen Patzkowski
1930 - 2024

Naomi Doreen Patzkowski departed this world peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Saturday, February 24, 2024.
Naomi was born in Meadow Grove, Nebraska on July 4, 1930, to Charles and Lois Boschult. Her brother, Carl, taught her to play the piano and music became a lifelong passion for her.
She attended two years at Miltonvale Wesleyan College in Kansas before finishing her degree at Marion College in Indiana. After college, Naomi married Benton Patzkowski on June 15, 1955, and went on to have three children: Kathy, Mark, and Randy. Naomi was a devoted wife and stay-at-home mom until Kathy went to college. She then pursued positions with Fairview Floral, Fairview Public Schools, Fairview Fellowship Home, and The Commons Methodist Home in Enid, OK where she served as Social Services and Admissions Director for 25+ years.
Naomi was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was primarily a servant to God. She loved her church and serving others. She was involved in Cedar Springs Nazarene Church and Enid First Church of the Nazarene. She served as choir director, children’s coordinator, women’s ministry coordinator, and served on church planning boards while also exhibiting booths at craft shows, singing in the choir, and playing piano for church services. She was loved by all around her and could never enter a store or restaurant without running into someone she knew. Her joy of being hostess often resulted in her home being full on Sundays as she hosted family and friends. She never desired the spotlight, preferring to serve behind the scenes, and so her full impact on the community and those around her will never be fully known.

Naomi joins her parents, Charles and Lois Boschult, her husband, Benton Patzkowski, her brothers, Carl Boschult and Paul Boschult, three sisters, Eunice Fennig, Elaine Boschult, and Esther Boschult, and her grandson, Nathaniel Patzkowski.

She is survived by many loving relatives including her brother, David Boschult and wife, Roxie; her children, Kathy Haney, Mark Patzkowski and wife Rebekah, and Randy Patzkowski and wife, Cami; her grandchildren, Kevin Haney and wife, Kandi, Kristen Haney, Julia, Gracie, Landry, and Sawyer Cate Patzkowski, and her great-grandchildren, Kylea, Kynzi, Keeli, and Keegan Haney.

A memorial service will be held at First Nazarene Church in Enid, Oklahoma on March 9, 2024, at 324 N Cleveland St, Enid, OK 73703 at 1:00 pm.
