A Celebration of the Life of Sharon Jeanne Linn, 67 of Enid, will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. Sharon was born February 25, 1957, in Enid, OK to John and Lois Hughes Leonard, and passed away April 29, 2024, at her home in Enid.
Sharon's high school activities included, freshman class president, cheerleader, journalism and yearbook staff. She graduated from La Quinta High School in Fountain Valley, CA in 1975. She later earned her Psychology and General English degrees from Northwestern Oklahoma College in Alva, OK. Sharon would continue her life-long learning career with classes related to childcare and the medical field through Autry Technology Center, completing long term care, home health care, and certified nurse's aide training and certification.
Sharon married Stephen Linn on October 27, 1985, in Enid where they made their home. Sharon owned and operated Linn Family Day Care for many years, worked at Richills Cafeteria and was a home health aide. She received the 1995 March of Dimes Women of Achievement Award in recognition of her commitment to serving others and being a childcare provider. She was a member of Christian Church of the Covenant where she was a deacon, Sunday School teacher and served on various committee's. Sharon enjoyed Gardening,Cooking,Spending time with her grandchildren and family as well as her beloved pets.
Sharon is survived by her husband Stephen, sons Kyle and Adam, five grandchildren and one great grandchild, sisters Sue Burnett, Cathy Graff and Trichia Pochen and a brother Kevin Fagan. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Lois , son Jeremy Brewer, brother Leonard, and sister Jan.
