In the High Plains Insurance and Sooner Plains Ag Area Game of the Week, the Pond Creek-Hunter Panthers defeated the Deer Creek Lamont Eagles 60-12 with the game ending at halftime due to a 45-point mercy rule.
The Eagles showed flashes of potential with Freshman QB Will Muegge leading a touchdown drive to put the Eagles up 6-0. However, the Panthers took over the game with Panther QB Kaden Tefft leading a dangerous read-option attack that saw several Panther backs like Ashton Banks, Harrison Stapleton, and Cole Mitchell score touchdowns. Hunter Simpson was also a force on defense for the Panthers bringing the pressure all game.

The Pioneer Mustangs fell at home to the defending State Champion Laverne Tigers 50-0. The Covington-Douglas Wildcats defeated the Medford Cardinals 60-12. While the Kremlin-Hillsdale Broncs fell to Corn Bible 42-0.
