Champlin pool manager Kim Haley reported Enid’s Olympic-size swimming pool would be closed on Thursday, August 1, 2019. Haley said a number of lifeguards will be enrolling in high school and college on August 1 and unable to work; therefore, leaving a limited number of staff to monitor the pool safely. The pool will reopen on Friday, August 2nd. According to Haley, Champlin Pool will close for the 2019 season on Thursday, August 8.
