(Enid, OK) Enid Police Department responded Sunday evening to a single-vehicle rollover accident in the 6300 block of West Chestnut.
At approximately 6:16, the crash was reported according to Sgt. Roberto Norton. The 2004 Honda CRV only had two passengers. The driver was inside the vehicle while the person in the passenger seat was ejected from the SUV. It is not known if the passenger was wearing a seat belt.
The car was traveling westbound on Chestnut when the driver lost control transitioning on to the gravel roadway. The vehicle rolled after entering a ditch, and came to a stop on the north side. The passenger thrown was transported by helicopter to Oklahoma City hospital, while the driver has been sent to Bass Baptist Health Center.
Police investigation is underway.
