President to Honor Local Family in State of the Union

(Washington, DC) The family of an Enid soldier will be in Washington, DC tonight for the President’s State of the Union address as his guests. Kelli Hake and son Gage lost their father, Army Staff Sargent Christopher Hake back in March of 2008 after he was killed by a roadside bomb believe to have been set up by Qasem Soleimani, an Iranian general recently killed by drone strike.

Staff Sargent Hake was killed alongside three other soldiers, when his son Gage was only one year old. They will be attending with eight other guests and will sit next to Melania Trump during the President’s speech.
