The St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs were set to meet for the second annual London series on June 13-14, but the Coronavirus has struck another major sporting event. It has been cancelled.
The Yankees and Red Sox played in the first London series last year.
The Mitel & MLB Present London Series scheduled for June 13-14 between the @Cubs and @Cardinals has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

MLB commissioner Rob Manfred made the announcement in a statement sent to MLB employees on Wednesday.
“We made the decision because it was unlikely the events would go forward, and timely cancellation allowed us to preserve important financial resources,” Manfred wrote. “We also have canceled agreements with service providers and delayed projects that involve large capital expenditures.”
