OSBI Looks For Aid in Fraud Cases

(Oklahoma City, OK) The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is partnering with the Unemployment Fraud Task Force to determine an investigation in to fraud happening outside the state of Oklahoma.

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the Inspector General and the U.S. Secret Service will take the lead in helping the OSBI in investigating cases within the jurisdiction of Oklahoma. Their resources will be key in investigating multiple cases.

“These criminals might be outside of our reach, but they are not outside the reach of the United States federal government,” said OSBI Director Ricky Adams. “Our agents and intelligence analysts will be here to assist our federal partners as necessary, especially if this criminal activity leads to an Oklahoma connection.”

The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission is asking citizens to contact them if any correspondence regarding unemployment is received. You can contact them if you have had such contact without filing at [email protected].
