The Enid Majors have played two of their three pool play games as we enter Friday’s session, and they were able to close out both close game affairs.

The Enid Majors got the win in their first pool play game over the St. Louis Sting, 7-6 in extra innings of play yesterday Morning. But the night game for the Majors was the fun one!

The CLUTCH gene was awoken on Thursday Night. Madron’s Walk-off gave the Enid Majors the 2-1 win over the OK Drillers on Thursday night! Majors starting pitcher Jared Gay threw a 7 Inning complete game.

The Enid Majors improved to 2-0 in pool play. The Majors are fighting for a championship berth on Saturday at 10am when they take on the Midwest Nationals.

The Majors are currently in first place in Pool C.

The Enid Plainsmen are looking to advance to 1-1 in pool play, after losing their opening round game on Wednesday morning. They take on 417 Red tonight, weather permitting. That game can be heard on 1390 KCRC Sports Radio, the CTB Sports App and online at EnidLive.com.

The Plainsmen currently are sitting in third place in Pool A.
