COVID-19 Numbers Rise in Garfield County as Enid Sees Another Death Recorded

(Enid, OK) Oklahoma has seen a rise in COVID-19 cases by 705 as the overall number climbs to a total of 46,103 on Thursday. 17 of the 705 cases come out of Garfield County, according to the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

An additional 11 deaths were reported amongst the state with a woman in Enid, who is in the 65 and older age group, having COVID-19 as the cause or contributor of her death.

Of the 17 new cases in Garfield County, Enid sees 15 of them. Northwest continues to see more cases as both Blaine and Major counties see two cases and Alfalfa having one new case.

Of the total cases reported Thursday in the state of Oklahoma, there are 6,810 active cases with 38,655 people recovering.
