Overall COVID-19 Cases Reach Almost 70,000, Garfield County Sees 40 New Cases

(Enid, OK) Oklahoma is officially nearing fifty thousand COVID-19 cases as the overall cases rose by 597 announced by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

34 deaths were also reported by the OSDH over the last two days.

The 34 deaths brings the total to almost 700 Oklahomans who had the virus as the cause or contributor to their death since when the virus was confirmed in the state on March 6th.

Of the 34 deaths, 26 were in the 65 and older age group and one more confirmed death in Garfield county.

The case numbers increase by 11 in Kingfisher, 4 in  Woodard and 39 in Garfield county with 36 being in Enid over the last two days.
