Putnam City has cancelled it’s scheduled Week 0 football game against Enid, originally slated for this Friday.

Enid Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Darrell Floyd: “We regret that we are unable to cheer our Plainsmen to victory this Friday evening, but we also understand when a district makes the difficult decision to cancel out of concern for the health and safety of their students and staff. “We hope to reschedule the game in the future, depending on how the rest of the season goes.”

The good news? Enid Football coach, Rashaun Woods is working to find a new Week 0 opponent for this Friday.

The game was slated to be broadcast on 1390AM KCRC Sports Radio. As are all the Enid Plainsmen football game this season.
