It takes more than two straight bad games from Tampa for me to give up on them as my NFC Champion team. Yes, getting swept my your division counterpart is not great. This is especially true when you get absolutely curb stomped in primetime at home. Yet, I’m willing to count on the Buccaneers that we saw vs the Packers several weeks ago showing up when it matters most, and not the Buccaneers that we saw last Sunday.

You might think I’d move up the Dolphins after a huge win over Arizona. Yet, this is exactly what I expected Miami to do. I knew this team was not the Dolphins of old. I saw that they would actually contend in their division after seeing their first six games. Now, just because I pulled the trigger on pumping up the Dolphins early, doesn’t mean I’ll continually rise them after my preconceived notions are actually proven to be true. The truth is if the Dolphins and Saints played on a neutral field next week, New Orleans would probably, rightfully be favored by 6 points.

This year is that “year-away” season for Miami. BIG things are coming in 2021 for Tua and the Dolphins.

Man, that Seattle defense is legitimately vomit-inducing. Buffalo quite literally threw the ball on every down and the Seahawks couldn’t come close to stopping it. Now this was a bad game by Seattle, and Russell Wilson had four turnovers, yet they only lost by 10 on the road flying from West to East. Don’t sell all of your stock yet on Pete Carroll’s team.

The Ravens won on the road after trailing in the second half! Even though it took a defensive touchdown and a questionable interception to aid Baltimore to victory, there are several positives walking into the second half of the season.

The Ravens are learning to deal with their beat-up offensive line, and their defense has been superb even without Marlon Humphrey. It didn’t hurt to see the Steelers still play down to their competition, leaving that AFC North Champion door a tad open.
