40 More COVID-19 Cases in Garfield County on Sunday, 1.7k in the State

(Enid, OK) 1,721 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the State on Sunday, with the Oklahoma State Department of Health also reporting 19 more deaths across the state.

Deaths reported on Sunday consisted of 13 men and six women. 16 of those were in the 65 and older age group, two in the 50-64 age group and one in the 18-35 age group. Counties of residence included three in Tulsa County, two each in Cleveland, Grady, Creek , Custer and Muskogee counties and one each in Jackson, Carter, Mayes, Payne, Oklahoma and Rogers.

1,736 Oklahomans who have died of complications of the virus as of Sunday’s data, according to the OSDH.

Garfield County saw an increase of 40 cases on Sunday, for an overall total of 3,914 COVID-19 cases, with 692 active cases and 3,185 having recovered.

Other county case increases in Northwest Oklahoma on Sunday included 26 in Woodward, 11 in Blaine, 10 each in Alfalfa and Major, six in Kingfisher, three in Woods and one in Noble County.
