Arrest Made Friday Afternoon in Connection to Enid Bomb Threats

(Enid, OK) An Enid woman was arrested on Friday on two felony counts of making a bomb threat.

21-year-old Amber Royal was arrested by Enid Police in connection to bomb threats made March 18th and 20th to the Tyson Foods plant, at 4929 E. Willow, according to a news release from the EPD.

Through the investigation, Sgt. Aaron Barber was able to identify Royal as a suspect. Royal was interviewed on Friday and confessed.

The plant was searched after both incidents and a device was never located.

The Enid Police Department is seeking information on an investigation of two bomb threats made at a local business last month.

The first threat was made on March 18th at 6:38 p.m at the Tyson Foods (4929 E. Willow). A manager received a text message stating that “This is a bomb threat get everyone out of the building.” The plant was evacuated and a search was conducted. No bomb or device was found.

The second bomb threat occurred two days later, on March 20th, again via text with the message “BOMB ACTIVITY IN 1 HR,” and listed the plant’s address. Another search was conducted and no device was found.
